Fine Art Photography Print - Cape Buffalo
Mature male buffalos are pushed out of the herd by younger males. These older buffalo become loners or join a small group of similar individuals. Do not get fooled by “the gentle look” of these seemingly placid giants. Of the big five, they are the most unpredictable and dangerous.
Their nickname comes from their love of rolling and covering themselves in mud, “daka” in Zulu.
I like the inquisitive look it gives to the camera.
