A large wave breaks on Sunset Reef, Kommetjie, Cape Town. The power and size of these waves don’t make an impact on you when you are standing on the shore and they are breaking a kilometer or so out to sea. However when you are threading you way through them and sitting in a small boat amongst them you better have great respect for them.
The courage of big wave surfers is immense.
