Fine Art Photography Print - Augrabies Falls 7
The Orange river (2432 km) is the longest river in South Africa. 130 km west of Upington it plunges 56m to form the Augrabies Falls (or in its original form Ankoerebis in Khoikhoi language). During the rainy season the flow rate has been recorded @ 7800 cubic meters per second, 4 times more than Niagara Falls. A thunderstorm adds another dimension to the already impressive sight.
